DIY DENIM DRESS

Finally! I didn't lie to you when I said I made a denim dress, I just haven't actually posted pics yet and now I have!  I failed to take decent pics during the process of making it so I think I am going to try to do another post where I post sketches on how I made it with explanations etc. Do you like it? I do! I was inspired to make my own when I tried on a denim dress at Forever 21, but just didn't have the money to buy it, so Voila! Here is a similar dress to the on I tried on, this one is from top shop and has somewhat of a sweetheart neckline while the one I tried on was straight across...

I just don't really have the skills yet for any kind of boning for the under wire and sides. So I did my best :) I also wish I had floral denim as well. So I am bound and determined to make my next post on how to make it, it is pretty simple too!

I styled it simple with a dressy over sized mens top that I got from my Grandpa, a thrifted skinny belt and some vintage wedges. It can be easily dressed up though with some nicer heals, chandelier earrings and some sort of cardigan with pretty detailing :)
